Apparently, today (6 July 2010) is the day that Marty McFly arrived in the future after hitting 88mph in 1985!!
Just a bit of trivia on a dull Tuesday afternoon.
 
I still don't have a hoverboard, or self drying clothes. What on earth are scientists doing not inventing these things?

If you had told me, way back then, that by 2010 jetpacks would not yet be a feature of everyday life, I not have believed you !

They're [broken link removed]on it! I propose Ireland becomes the hub for hoverboard technology. A new IFSC but for hoverboards. It's our only hope for the future.
 
This could be just the boost that Ireland and it's 'smart economy' needs...

Might be an opportunity to bring back the DeLorean DMC-12 too. I just don't think they gave that a good enough go.
