Bachelors Walk development in Dublin 1.

I am looking at an apt in the Bachelors Walk development in Dublin 1.

Anybody any experience of living there?

I have a friend who was renting there but left after a short while due to anti-social activities. If I were you I would do some investigating to be sure that this problem is a thing of the past...

I rented there for a while last year!

Worst flat ever! The corridors stank of something strange.

Once found a drunk sleeping in the corridor. Think there is a security issue as they posted notes with CCTV images on the doors about people coming in.

Having said that great chipshop around the corner and a good pub too.

Damn I miss Dublin...

Are you looking to buy or rent?

The flat I was in had a major damp problem. The window reveals/mastic jointing had come away and was letting in damp and a draft.

Personally whether renting or buying, you would find better value elsewhere in D1 or D2. Just my view...

Thanks for the feedback. I am looking to buy. EA just sent me an email saying the sale of the apt is suspended "due to legal reasons". Not a good sign!
