Came across these at Ideal Home Exhibition at weekend.Anyone used them?

Seemed like a pretty nifty idea to me given the price of skips-although the bags didnt seem very robust -but they claim the smaller bag can take up to a ton

I'd imagine the bags used are similar to the bags that sand and pebbles are delivered in. A cubic metre of both sand and pebbles weigh considerably more than 1 ton. So sounds right.

We used one just this past weekend - was marketed as 'Skippy', maybe a different Company doing it here (Meath).

Worked really well. Was 10 euro for the 1 cubic yard bag and 65 for collection. It was filled with wall tiles and most of the wall came off with them... So very heavy and a corner of tile ripped the bag a bit, but 'twas lifted and removed no bother the day I called them.

Very happy with the whole thing. Handy occasionally for small jobs.
