best place for lunch in portlaoise is seasons restaurant above o'donoghues pub in market square. I've been there with my baby, only thing is it is upstairs so I carried her up in car seat. Also booked in for dinner there with a baby too and not a problem. Great food. About 10-11 euro for a hot lunch
