Having a bit of a problem with my builder - or finding him!
Hired him to do a pretty substantial renovation of a house I bought. I have paid him most of the money (we agreed a payment schedule up front) but still have outstanding a few grand.
He needs to come back and do a few bits and pieces, but my main worry is that a sheet of corrugated asbestos he undertook to dispose of (from an extension we knocked down and rebuilt) is still in my garden.
The work finished about 6 weeks ago, and he has been back a few times touching up and fixing some things, but has disappeared for the last 3 weeks and is not answering calls - any idea of what i can do to get him back to finish up?
