Avoiding fee for pin based card transactions

Hi,

I often shop for over €50 and end up paying transaction fee due to typing in the pin (i am with AIB).

I am told there is no limit on Touch Pay if paying by your smartphone. Is this true?

And which app do you suggest? I have the latest Samsung Galaxy phone.

It’s superb really. I’m only a recent convert to Apple Pay but have had it for a while. I’d sometimes forget my wallet and then remember that I’d Apple Pay.

They don’t show up as “Google pay” transaction, but as normal card pay ment transactions (At least in my case, with N26, Ulster and Bank Of Ireland)
