average costs

Guys,

Just wondering what would the average extra costs of buying a gaff be?
Solicitors fees, surveys...etc...
Just trying to get a ballpark figure

My solicitors fees in Mayo were 800 euro I think 4 years ago. Got the bank to waive the Indemnity Bond or I was walking. Don't know bout the rest. Valuers Fee's & more

Don't forget solicitor's fee is plus VAT at 21%, plus legal outlays, which vary widely but think €500 as a very rough ball-park.

Valuation is ~€130. Stamp Duty if applicable. Structural survey is optional but recommended for older houses. €400 - €600.
