Avensis Gear Problem

I have an 02 avensis vvti petrol and I recently replaced the gearbox due to bearing problems.After replacing gearbox it drove perfectly for about two weeks and then with the the 1st or 2nd gear change it the morning I found it difficult to move it out of 1st gear.After this it drives perfectly all day doing up to 150 miles but its nearly always the same in the moning.ive bled the clutch system and this appears to have improved the pedal but not the problem.Any ideas.I replaced the gearbox myself so I have no one to go back to.

Try changing the oil in the gearbox. Probably a bit late now but you should really have changed the clutch when you had the box out.Any I've come across with this problem are only ever properly sorted with a new clutch.The pedal gets heavier and heavier until it becomes undrivable.They rarely ever start to slip.
