AVC's - early retirement

I am fortunate to have an excellent non-contrib pension. In addition,I started paying AVC's a few years back. It looks increasingly as though I'll retire well before 65. What penalties exist for cashing/using AVC's early?

Is this an occupational scheme or a personal pension plan? By non contributory do you mean that your employer makes no contribution?

What normal retirement age does your scheme specify?
