AVC contribution

I have a weekly salary of €1100 and I am aged 51. Therefore I am allowed to get tax and PRSI releif on AVC contributions of up to 40% of €1100 per week.

I also have a company car. The gross calculated weekly BIK value of the car is €156. I pay tax and PRSI on this amount.

Can I get AVC contribution tax + PRSI relief on 40% of base salary €1100 PLUS the BIK amount of €156.

Tax relief is allowable up to 30% and yes you may add on your taxable bik.
