Avast's new secure browser?

I updated Avast today and it is now opening up everything in a new browser - their Secure Browser.

I don't understand the technical talk in this thread.

Should I move from Firefox to it as my default.

Thisis how to change (or re-set) your default browser in Windoze 10. I suspect you might have allowed AVAST to make this change for you during the virus signature / software update. https://support.microsoft.com/en-ie/help/4028606/windows-10-change-your-default-browser

I'd never heard of it so did a quick google - https://www.engadget.com/2018/04/05/avast-secure-browser-30-percent-faster/

The post suggests it's good but the parent company have a history of issues.
