I am thinking of hiring car for four days in the UK and was looking at this site http://www.autoeurope.ie
The T&C's of the rental agreement state that the following is not covered
" Insurance for personal injuries / damages to drivers and passengers, optional coverage may be offered locally for an additional fee."
Has anyone any idea of how much this costs (is if an excuse to load on extra charges). The site also says that you will only find out what rental company you are dealing with after you pay up, shold this be a cause for any unease?
If anyone has recent experience of car hire with this broker I would be delighted to hear about it.
