Aussie VISA ran out, what opportuinity can he come back for Leisure

A colleague of Mine (Aussie National) got three month work VISA thru our Employer, and did not get an extension (HR Imcompetence), and has moved to our English Office.

He is looking to come back for a mini holiday with his Family, will he have any problems with Customs ??? , holiday will be in middle of UK VISA.

As long as he has a return ticket to the UK, he should be fine to visit. I've moved in and out of Ireland a few times with a student, visitor and work visa (in that order) without problem, although they do ask a few more questions after multiple trips or visa status changes. As long as he wasn't kicked out of the country (ie he left before they noticed his visa had expired) he should be fine.

He won't have any problems with Customs but Immigration may have a look at him. As long as he has the UK Visa he won't have a problem. Like the previous poster said its no harm to have the return ticket back to the UK as well.
