audio problem

just wondering if anyone has come across dis problem before. last weekend was downloading music when i noticed the vocals were all distorted it was like it was on double speed and yet the actual music played perfect ran the usual checks but cannot find areason for it. am using am using direct x

Some questions....

• What download/file (e.g. what link)?
• What format (MP3, WAV, something else?)?
• What player was the sound distorted on (PC, standalone MP3 player, CD player other?)?
• What has DirectX got to do with it? Isn't that mainly/solely a graphics/gaming API?

using onlinemovieaccess.com. the distortion first appeared on pc as i was burning disc have tried copying orignal cds but audio is same

So it's a DVD that you burned and the audio is out of sync with the images? Anything useful among ?
