Audi A3 Sportline

Nice Car, are you buying New or 2nd hand?
The 5 door 2.0tdi version would attract me as it seems to have a larger, almost estate look to it, very practical, and yet handy for city parking.
and high 40s MPG.
Takes a bit of time to get around the "goatee" style grille on the front of all new Audi’s, but its "growing" on me

Suspension on the sportline can be a bit hard for bumpy Irish secondary
roads but not the end of the world.

Would also consider a Golf/leon/focus for better valve for money,
maybe even a 3 series compact or a-class
But the A3 is miles ahead of its main competitor in this class IMHO, the BMW 1 series.
 
It's essentially a Golf (already pricey enough) in drag, and marked up further.

I still like them though.
 
There are nearly 30 cars built on the Golf chassis including the Passat, A4 & Audi TT so tht's not a problem for me. Second hand value seems to be very strong. Has any one heard of any problens with the car in general?
