Auctions Merlin

I have been there many times with my uncle who buys trade ins and auction cars to sell on.

Great fun, almost the same as a day at the races if you ask me.

The only difference is that you can actually MAKE money through buying the right Auction car.
 
I've been there a couple of times and bought a good car when they were down near Newlands cross. Never is "buyer beware" more appropriate than when buying a car at auction. Don't forget to factor in buyers fees which are expensive at this auction.

I get the impression they are tied in with dealership(s) rather than being a completely independant auction house as you see a lot of tat going through with bids on that they don't let go... and then they go through again..... nobody is going to keep paying the entry fee!!.

You should look at Wilsons auctions in Naas also.... same again though... when I look at the PDF listings you see the same car going through again and again. Good luck
