Just wondering if anyone knew autioneers in Galway that are offering the rent to buy scheme on detached properties(outside estates). I have come accross one but was just wondering if it was going to become more widespread with banks demanding such high deposits.

Don't know about Galway but the developers themselves often offer the scheme so check developers websites.

We asked an auctioneer about this option for a property we want to buy but won't have the funds for a few months. He said the vendor is giving it serious thought.

The developers are offering Rent to Buy in housing estates. We are looking for a detached house on own site. One auctioneer has a few houses that the sellers are willing to seee under the rent to buy scheme. The area just don't suit.

SWGirl, was the auctioneer you were dealing with in the Galway region??
