Auctioneers Kilkenny

I want to put my house up for sale as I am about to build on a site. The house is located in the Kilkenny area. Any advice appreciated with regard to local auctioneers.

what part of Kilkenny? If you are in a rural area, generally people tend to go for the local auctioneer.

The house is about a 15min drive to kilkenny city. There are no auctioneers in the village where I live. The nearest ones are based in the city.

maybe take a look at myhome.ie or daft.ie and see if there are houses near your area being sold by auctioneer.

Michael Guiry [broken link removed] was recommended to me recently by a local businesswoman whose opinion I trust. But the transaction never proceeded so I've no direct experience to relate.

Go for one that is a member if either the IAVI or the IPav - they will probably be more qualified.
These days - especially if you want the widest exposure for your house - you probably have to go with an auctioneer who is with Daft.ie or Myhome.ie or both .
Also if an auctioneer's website is high up on google - that in my view would be good. Try "houses for sale in Kilkenny" or "property for sale in Kilkenny" on google and see which auctioneers appear n the top 5. If you can find them easily - so can the potential buyers.
