Attic conversion on bungalow

I was looking for advice on the above - have already read all the posts on attic conversions and links. My attic is already fully floored and the length and width of house - so as far as I know there is not that much to do, my sister lives beside me and got hers done already a few years ago by a friend who is a builder specialising in attic conversions. Don't know if prices have gone up though or stayed stagnant - its also a detached house with gable end roof (believe it makes it easier)... I have seen prices can range from 7k to 30k but would anyone have a rough idea on price - I live in Kildare area.

Thanks

Do you really expect people to give you an estimation without telling us either the standard (specs) of the conversion you want or more importantly the size of the attic space.

It would help to put down the overall size of the attic.

Bear in mind that you may need planning permission for this and will have to carry out the work in compliance with the building regs. It may be better if you contact a local architect/engineer/technician and let them prepare a draft of your proposal and maybe fire it round a couple of the local builders for prices.

thanks for that info nutty nut I was just wondering roughly as we need to save for it, the conversion will be approx 40m sq - don't know what other specs are needed.
