Just looking for estimates for an attic conversions of a 4 bed semi hip roof in kildare??? Also if anyone can recommend builders to do it

A neighbor of mine got an attic conversion, cost 27K, I think if you used direct labour you would save alot of cash, I think 27k is crazy money .
 
There are many previous threads on attic conversions .

If you have a read through some of the [broken link removed] on some of the attic conversion provider's sites you will see that a hip roof is one of the harder to convert types.

IMHO direct labour would not be the preferred route for an attic conversion as you will need certification/approved sign off if you wish to sell at some stage.
