Athlumney Abbey, Navan

Hi,

I am not from Navan but will be buying in Navan and was wondering what this area is like? I have about 360k to spend so was also wondering if there any other similar nice estates in Navan that I could also buy in. I would be looking at a 4bed semi if possible...

Any help would be great, and I have seen a previous posting about Athlumney Abbey. Does this estate have the youth problems or the street lighting problems that have been mentioned?

Athlumney Abbey is over beside the HUGE Johnstown estate on the dublin side of the town. Parallel to the Dublin Rd is the Trim Road the houses on this road are much lower density and don't have the problems Johnstown have. If I were you I'd look say in Balreask Manor or Canterbrook.

Navan is due to grow to 60K-well that the plan.There are large developments everywhere and while the Trim road is lower density at present it is unlikely to remain so. Athlumney Abbey looks okay to me and it has good access to the town and to the Dublin road.
