AT&T Dial Up Probelms with Broadband

Any out there using AT&T dial up software with broadband? We are having difficuly in work connecting to an AS400 machine in UK via both a laptop in Dublin and a PC in Belfast . Both are dialing in via broadband lines - Eircom in Dublin and BT in Belfast. Would be interested to here from anyone who has come across this problem.

Dial-up & broadband are generally exclusive. If you are on broadband, then you shouldn't be dialling up. Does the AT&T software have a VPN option, so you can connect via your broadband internet connection?
