Ask suggestion: Is Kilgobbin Wood in D18 a good place?

Hi,
I'm planning to buy an apt in Kilgobbin Wood recently. Is this a good place?
It's not very far from Ballyogan road, I heard that road is not very safe. So kind of worried...
If you are familiar with that area, please give me some suggestion. By the way, is Dunnestore near that place?

I've been living here for over 5 years, it's a great estate, very quiet and safe. Ballyogan used to have a bit of a rep but really it's fine. Dunnes is based down at the Ballyogan estate in what is now called Leopardstown shopping centre, it's about a 2 minute drive/10 minute walk from Kilgobbin Wood. The Luas extension should be opening in October and will have a few stops within a very short walk of the estate.
