The Asgard II sinks off French coast: http://www.rte.ie/news/2008/0911/asgard.html

A sad end to an era. http://www.asgard2.ie/ Now looking into the future I hope the goverment will get or commision a good replacement. No messing around with trying to rebuild the Asgard I, which appart from being past it was too small anyway. Dublin Port have the Genie Johnson sitting there, doing the odd day trip. I would much rather see her sailing around Europe and World, than acting as a tourist attraction down at the IFSC.

First the "Cabin Fever" gets sunk by being driven on to rocks on a calm afternoon off the north coast a few years ago , then the Asgard sinks during normal sailing conditions....now you want to sink the Genie Johnson as well ? lol As a taxpayer I demand to keep my taxes / where they have been spent afloat !
