Hi - anyone out there been to this part of portugal?......heading off for 1 week in middle of august...any info/tips appreciated. Hiring a car from Faro to destination, is the driving pretty straight forward over there?
I was there recently and really enjoyed it. People are really friendly and the restaurants are fantastic, both in terms of quality and price.
You may be doing the right thing renting a car; a taxi from Faro to Armacao de Pera cost us €60. You would have to be fairly confident to drive there however, the driving style is a little different from Ireland.
