Hi All, The solicitor dealing with my late uncles will is charging 34,000 in fees. Is this way over the top for an estate worth 730,000. Can I get some advice on this Please.
You're mnaking a lot of claims there. No complications about the will. Solicitor had to get temporary pps nos for 10 beneficaries. Nothing sold in the estate. No price given at the beginning. I have wrote to LRSA who have wrote to solicitor for breakdown of her fees. Its been horrendous the stress and utter lies from the solicitor.
There may not be much complications on your dead uncles side but it sounds like there are complications on the distribution of the assets if 10 temporary PPS numbers had to be got. I'm not saying if €34,000 is justified or not but the cost of it has just gone up!! And I am presuming there are more than just these 10 beneficiaries as well. Dealing with a big distribution means a lot more work.No complications about the will. Solicitor had to get temporary pps nos for 10 beneficaries. Nothing sold in the estate. No price given at the beginning. I have wrote to LRSA who have wrote to solicitor for breakdown of her fees. Its been horrendous the stress and utter lies from the solicitor.
It sounds like a total nightmare to be honest.it sounds like there are complications on the distribution of the assets if 10 temporary PPS numbers had to be got. .... And I am presuming there are more than just these 10 beneficiaries as well.
I can imagine there is a few different jurisdictions involved as well.It sounds like a total nightmare to be honest.
