Hi,

Is NTL, Chorus and Sky the only available vendors for TV in Ireland? Are there any other options available?

Cheers.

The [broken link removed] might be of interest in this context. This page is a little out of date (and you might need shades to read it :cool: ) but it might also be of interest. The ICDG site might also be useful.

Thanks for the reply clubman. I'm gonna go with either FreeSat or Freeview depending on signal strength and quality. The following which a co-worker sent me were very interesting;

Need UK address £150 for full installation. £20 for just card and can get digibox from Ebay.

Can stick a postcode in here find out if freeview works. In the Republic, trial and error if it works coming from the North.

This is the latest and greatest receiver. Add HD and house card can be like Sky+. Linux STB
