Are NI shops open this Bank Holiday Monday?

Does anybody know if shops are open in Northern Ireland this Bank Holiday Monday? I think its a Bank Holiday in Northern Ireland as well as down south. And if they are are they regular opening hours or opening hours like Sundays (1 - 6PM). Thanks

I don't know, but given the surge in traffic from this country to the North for previous bank holidays, I wouldn't even think of travelling.

Im usually in Belfast this weekend for the Belfast Marathon (and this year too), and mrs Runner and myself always stop at the Banbridge Retail Outlet on the way back. Its fully operative on Bank holiday Monday and has great range of shops. Not supermarkets though, mainly fashion outlets. Its on the M1., not far past Newry.

I don't think it is a bank holiday there. Don't the UK and NI have it at the end of the month instead?
