Noticed that people who live in Littlepace and surrounding estates use the address Clonee, but this location is not in Clonee, it is not in Co Meath but in Dublin 15, actually in Mulhuddart. Why such snobbery?
its not snobery, i wasnt aware of clonee being an upperclass area? some of the main utility providers insist on adressing these estates as clonee not the residents themselves. mulhuddard is further away from these estates than clonee is btw.
Agree with Ishindar, wouldn't have thought it was snobbery at all. I always thought Littlepace was Clonee, I definitely never thought it to be Mulhuddart but if it turns out it is then I stand corrected. I would have thought that you could walk to Clonee village fairly handy from Littlepace, not sure how long it would take you to get to Mulhuddart by foot.
I rang up Fingal and they told me I lived in Clonee, Dublin 15. Everyone knows it as Clonee, it's definitely not snobbery. I wouldn't care if it was Mulhuddart.
