Are building costs going down?

Hi,

Living in the south east of the country and just wondering are prices to build reducing, if so, what are you being quoted per sq meter or sq foot? I know alot depends on the spec of the house but would like to know.

Thanks for thread, hoping for more up to date version given that 2008 is going to be a tough year for building trade am wondering is this hype or are builders hungry for the business?
