ARD Date

Hi,

I setup a LTD company in September 2013. I got a letter for my six month ARD of March 2014. I believe the next one a year later, i.e. March 2015.

Is this ARD the year end date of company accounts or is it separate? Does that mean the first company accounts are for 18 months for corporation tax purposes, etc.?

The company has to file its Annual return Form B1 within 28 days of the ARD.

The accounts year end must not predate the ARD by more than 9 months. In your case the accounts year end is August/September so that's fine.

Ok, looking at the B1 Form it is a submission of the annual accounts and other documents.
