Architects Plans Costs estimate - dunlaoghaire

anyone have an idea of cost for drawing up plans for a small standalone (40-50m sq) single story building at rear of existing house, dunlaoghaire area.

Any recommedations on local architects appreciated.

For planning permission purposes a professional Architect will cost anything from 2.5-5k.

Try to get an architectural technician to do it as a nixer and you could probably get it done for a 1500.

A good technician will be just as good as an average architect.

With any plans make sure you put a lot of thought into them at the design stage because any changes afterwards are usually relatively expensive. An architect could probably advise / suggest things at design stage that would assist you or the builder and help the overall costs. The technician might just draw what you want. HTH.
