Ok…I have only had an I phone for a couple of weeks but I am addicted. My partner has an android phone so these apps sync between I phone and android phones. (We both have basic data packages too).
Calengoo….the basic I phone/android calendar app (free) is capable of doing some of these features, but if you want a fully customizable calendar then Calengoo comes highly recommended. There are 4 of us in our family 2 adults and 2 kids and both myself and my partner are able to set up events using a separate calendar colour for each person. This syncs within seconds to each others phones, so we can both see all the familys event in different colours on one calendar. Reminders can be set up, birthdays, recurring events….etc…
Our Groceries….(free) A basic shopping list which syncs between I phone and android. As soon as either of you adds something to the list the other sees it. The app remembers items on the list so when you next add something, like Potatoes, as soon as you write the P…it suggests items you have previously added like potatoes, parsnips etc….which greatly saves time writing them in. While I am in the supermarket my partner can just add a few things from home and it automatically updates my phone. You can add multiple shopping lists too.
Jelly SMS….(free) Use your online free text messages, e.g. O2 give you 250 free text messages a month. It uses your contact list so it is as quick as using your phones normal text messaging app. Providing you don’t go over your free text message limit its free to send them.
Thats just to get the ball rolling……
I would love to hear other peoples “cant live without apps”……
