Hi,

Can anyone please advise what the approximate mileage would be on a Renault Clio 1.2 Campus 2006(old model speedo in KM) when the timing belt should be changed?

thanks

Is the average to change a timing belt not in and around 50k miles?

Renaults typically need the timing belt changed more often then the average for other makes. It was 40K for the Laguna and Megane a few years ago, but don't know the details for the Clio now.

It is very useful knowledge for a Renault owner to have.

thanks. there is 58km/36,250 miles on ours, but may check it out with dealer to make sure although my feeling would be that mileage is well under limit.

I mean who would buy a car if there is a real possibility that the belt would go at such a low mileage.
