I want to apply for a GP visit Medical card but have a couple of questions:
My current financial circumstances mean that I am not entitled to one. However, I go on maternity leave in May and those circumstances change and I think I will be eligible. Can I apply as soon as the circumstances change with my new financial detail or do I have to try to average out the year when putting in the amounts?
My financial situation will then change again later in the year when my Maternity Benefit ends but I am still on unpaid leave. Again I believe I'll be eligible in this period even more so, but do I need to update the HSE on the actual financial changes or as long as I still fit, do they care?
