applying for c2

I am applying for a c2 and have been told i have to have some sort of written contract before i can apply for one.

do i have to make a written contract with the emplyer every time i am goin to do work for them?

what needs to be said ion the contract?

You will be deemed the subcontractor and the person you are working for will be the Principal Contractor. The Principal Contractor will need to give you a written contract / letter outlining work involved and duration so you can apply for a C2 and he can get a payments card in your name.
