Looked at these three on the Apple Website today; but I though I'd better consult the experts here....

Apple 80 GB iPod - E 329.75 - [broken link removed]
Apple Home Hi-Fi - E 288.43 - http://www.apple.com/uk/ipodhifi/
Ipod iHome IH5 Alaram Dock - E 98.35 - [broken link removed]

Anyone any thoughts on the above. Want to knock my Home Hi-fi / traveling music needs on the head.

Prices realistic?

Would like a more mobile travel dock - the IH5 isnt really the one - recommend anything?

Accessories? Anything I should add to the general package?

Any other options (Creative Zen or other?)

Many thanks,

BM

I have an iHome alarm clock. It sounds pretty good for an alarm clock and works well. Only problem is the backlit clock display is too bright, even when turned down to the lowest setting, which is annoying when you want to sleep!

Plenty of reviews out there on the iPod Hi-Fi - I have a lot of Apple products but didn't bother with this one: major drawback - no built in radio.

The 80GB iPod is best of class for mp3 players. Personally I'm sticking with my old 10GB though until Apple releases a widescreen iPod (with no iphone attached ) probably a year away at least.

Have a look at the Logitech AudioStation bought one a few months back and it sounds good and looks good.
