Apple Mac and Open Office

Hi, as part of her computer course, my daughter must upload Access, Excel and Word on her computer (eMac, 6 years old). Open Office is recommended as free and excellent software, but is it compatible with eMac? Also does it have Access, Excel and Word (or similar tools?). Thanks.

I use NeoOffice on the Mac mostly for Excel but it has the full suite of OpenOffice tools. Works fine for me.

OpenOffice is available for the Mac. i have been using it for years!
