Hello,

is it possible to appeal the outcome of a case brought to the criminal court by the DPP ?

Thank you

Were you a victim of a crime and the case was taken by the DPP and he lost or are you not happy with the outcome. Or were you prosecuted by the DPP and convicted. You can appeal this one yourself but if it's a case where you were the victim it is up to the office of the DPP to appeal it but you can write to them and bring your concerns issues to their attention,.

I suppose it depends on who you are. Generally the two participants in any court case are the only people allowed to appeal (assuming they have grounds to appeal).

In criminal cases it is usually the DPP v Joe Bloggs, so only DPP or Joe Bloggs can appeal.

I was a victim of a crime and the case was taken by the DPP and he lost.
I am happy with the outcome and just wonder if the accused can appeal the sentence ( fine)
