Long story short - ground floor apartment, discovered wooden floor was bubbling with water ingress last March
Mgt agent sent out a guy to look at it, determined downpipes blocked with various items from nesting pigeons - but also hole in the fascia on the outside corner of the building - area where this is has flooding cobble lock regularly when there is any substantial amount of rain.
Nothing subsequently done and have been at them over the summer months - another person brought down in August - same determination & that downpipe needed to be replaced - six weeks later still no fix - agent blaming an owner upstairs as they won’t permit access to balcony tho says he should be able to fix from roof.
What are my rights as regards to it being fixed - floor in the apartment is potentially destroyed which I’m quite unhappy about for a number of reasons while I know they’ll have to fix or replace it’s a big job & inconvenient I’d rather not have had to have done - also as a director I feel the longer it goes on the more it’s going to cost the mgt co. Is there anyway to make the other owner give access and make the agent get it sorted ASAP? Don’t want to fall out, but I want it sorted feel I’ve been extremely patient for the last six months but my patience is running out
