It would help if I got the name right! Its Ocean Propertys spelt so.
Heres the link about them...Cork is the address alright. A family member is looking into purchasing through them. Was looking for feedback, if any. [broken link removed]
Its the same story with all oversea's property -> do the research on the property market in the country in question (google a great starting point. Also search the on-line english-speaking portugese newspapers). re-confirm all the details the agent tells you, and in general don't believe a word of it! esp. the mention of capital appreciation )
Agreed! Did searches on google looking for website and couldn't find it thanks to strange spelling...can't be a good selling point!
Yes, apparently Kerry is just as much a hot property destination as the Algarve! you learn something new....
So I'll do some research on the web... and check the online newspapers...thanks paddyd...hadn't thought of that. If anyone has anything else to offer, would be grateful! ta very much... mica
Many thanks for the comments and the link to Ocean Propertys I agree the spelling isn’t too clever –yesterday I requested information on the Algarve and yes I have researched it as a location and am now about to approach estate agents.
“The Portugal News” is Portugal's largest circulation English language newspaper; the only Portuguese newspaper on the net that covers all the major news about Portugal and is a great yard-stick by which to measure the property prices and trends in any region. www.the-news.net
Has anyone heard of Ivernico, an Irish company building in the Algarve? [broken link removed]
