Anyone used mortgages.ie?

I'm about to go with this company, essentially they are brokers, any horror stories or reccommendations? Thanks

I contacted them via their website, a lady (we shall call Miss X) phoned me and said she would be able to get me a mortgage and sent me a list of stuff to get together. I then tried to phone her back on her mobile, but it went straight to voicemail for about a week.
I then went to another broker that was recommended to me. he told me that I would not have a hope of getting a mortgage until my current property was sold/contracts signed, which I am now in the process of doing.
A week later a gent phoned me from mortgages.ie, using Miss X's phone number to say that Miss X no longer worked for the company, and he had just today accessed her voice mails. It all sounded a bit amature to me, so I told him to get lost.

I started to use them over a year ago to get approval in principle.

I consider myself honest and never said or gave assumption i would rent out rooms in house. In application filed with lenders i see that i was to rent out 2 rooms. I wanted my application processed based on merit and not lies on a form.

Also i felt they went to easier lender at time First active. They do charge a 500 euro fee at that time(mortgae broker)
