Anyone suggest place for Lunch in Sutton/Howth area?

Hi I am due to visit an old friend this Thursday who lives in Bayside, D13, and being 5 month Pregnant I would really appreciate if anybody could suggest a good place to get a nice lunch or wouldn't even mind a carvery dinner if anyone can recommend a hotel for this in the Sutton/Howth area?

Have been in the Marine Hotel in Sutton a few times and I would definitely recommend it

The Marine is gone very expensive.. the Elphin pub in sutton is not too expensive and they have lovely menu..

Howth is spoiled for choice for restaurants. Have a look at the [broken link removed] website.

I agree with The Elphin, though it has gone, for me, a bit stale since they introduced the menu about 2 years ago.

Il Fornaio on Kilbarrack Road is close to Bayside. In the other direction, the McHughs restaurant across from The Cedars in Raheny is good (the missus was there on Friday), as is 1014 opposite the wooden bridge at Dollymount.

The Mrs & 3 friends ate there on Friday night. About 180, which included one if not two bottles of wine. She liked it and she's a foodie.
