Anyone received tax refund on Ryanair flights?

I tried to get a refund from Ryanair for unused flights but didn't realise there was a 30 day limit. My friend tried to get a refund of taxes on 8 flights within the 30 days and was told that the admin costs were more than the taxes so no refund. They never told her what the admin costs are, is it just a scam in that the admin costs will always be more than the taxes.
Has anyone received a tax refund from them?

Anyone ever asked/been told what the administration fee is? I am going to go out on a limb here and guess that the administration fee is applied per flight sector so a multiple booking will attract the admin fee for each person cancelled.

I was told about 18 mths ago (when I tried to get a refund for an unused flight) that the admin fee was €20 per sector. Needless to say, the taxes came in at less than that, so no refund!
