POLICE have arrested two men in connection with a fraud investigation linked to a Scarborough-based property firm.
The two men, from the Scarborough and Blackpool areas, were arrested by officers from North Yorkshire Police's Major Fraud Investigation team.
A police spokesman said the company, Independent Property Consultants (IPC), specialised in overseas properties in a number of countries including Bulgaria, Spain and Cape Verde.
He said: "The two men, both aged 49, have been released on bail while the investigation continues."
Officers are appealing for anyone who had dealings with IPC to contact 0845 6060247 ext 5634, or e-mail IPC@north yorkshire.police.uk.
So if you know anyone who invested with this company pass on the information !!
