Anyone heard of Hi-Life Dining Card?

Picked up a leaflet for this in Milano at the weekend. You buy a card for EUR49.95 [annual subscription] - which entitles you to 2 meals for the price of 1 at over 300 restaurants across Ireland. There is a good selection of restaurants participating.

Just wondering what the catch is - anyone know?

A friend of a friend has one and finds it really good. Think you can't combine using it with other offers so no using it with "recession" offers.

You can get the card for €17.50 worth of Tesco vouchers with their Tesco Clubcard Deals - I've just signed up to it that way (haven't received it yet)

So don't think there is a catch, just a matter of liking a number of the restaurants in the book to make use of it.

I seen a leaflet for this when I was in Dublin. I signed up to something similar in the UK when I lived there, was good but you would need to make sure you use it and it serves the resturants you like to visit.

Apologies - have just come across this thread from 2007. If the terms and conditions are the same its not for us. We would want to use it more than once at some restaurants [and not at all in others] - but most importantly would def want to use it at weekends.
