Anyone been to Mogan, Gran Canaria

I have heard that this is a nice place and quieter than Playa De Ingles, has anyone ever been here and would you recommend it

Mogan ( Puerto Mogan ) I went there when I was in Puerto Rico Gran Canaria on a day trip. It is a small fishing village with a couple of bars and restaurants.It is full of houses with flowers everywhere and canals. It was nice for the day but would probably be too quite for the week.Puerto Rico is a lot quiter than Playa Del Ingles.

Agree... Mogan is VERY quiet. Nice fishing village that goes to bed early. Grand for a day trip, but would not relish a week there. You can have the best of both worlds somewhere in the outer areas of Maspolomas, which are very quiet, bus service to beach and taxis cheap.

I agree - Mogan beautiful but very quiet. It is locally known as "Little Venice". The market takes place there. Well worth going there for a daytrip.
