anyone any ideas?

Need to get to a town outside Edinburgh for a funeral on Friday the 28th, intended to fly in thursday and home Saturday. Flights are crazy money, anyone any suggestions?

get the ferry from larne to stranraer and drive? or are the flights cheaper to glasgow

Glasgow's not much cheaper. Don't drive, yet. There is a coach service that leaves at 8am and arrives at 6pm for €75, sounds horrific when you've got used to getting there by plane for the same money but it might be the only option.
