Anyone any advice on how to get a response from Perlico Customer Services?

I ordered a laptop and mobile broadband with Perlico in June of this year with a promise of a 3-5 working day delivery. The laptop didnt arrive within 5 days and I telephoned their customer services. Apparently there was some 'glip' on their end and it had not been put through their order system. They assured me they would process the order immediately. Five days later the laptop still hadnt arrived. In the meantime I had given them my credit card details.

After the second failed delivery, I telephoned their customer service department and told them that I was cancelling the order as I had needed the laptop and mobile broadband urgently over the last few days and they had failed to deliver on two delivery dates. They assured me that they would cancel the order and that my credit card had not been debited for the amount.

Several days later the laptop was delivered to me and I refused to accept delivery.

I telephoned them to make sure that the amount of the laptop was not deducted from my credit card and they assured me that it wouldnt be. A short time later I discovered that the full amount (€428) was indeed taken from my credit card account.

I telephoned them and emailed them to notify them and ask them to immediately reimburse my credit card account. Once again they apologised and assured me that they would correct their error.

The other day I received a credit card statement showing that this amount was still outstanding (with interest due). I have emailed them twice since and still have not had a response.

This is going on now for almost two months. What can I do? Any advice or experience is welcome.

Get on to the credit card company and tell them you are disputing the transaction.

Contact www.comreg.ie and see if they can help. A friend did this when she had problems with broadband connection and Perlico soon sorted it out.

Good idea to contact your credit card provider also.

Thank you both. I will contact the credit card company and comreg tomorrow
