Cruising on a short 5 day trip from Malaga in a couple of weeks. We are not early morning people & rarely rise before 8 am so have a couple of "lazy bird" questions.
What time do you need to be on the quay for the morning tour buses ?
On day of disembarking the ship is due alongside at 6am. Am not in a hurry anywhere so can we have a lie in, have breakfast at 8.30 & depart at around 9.30 after the rush is over ?

Usually the tours are just after arrival, but you can get later ones too, but id say book your own and dont book RCIs tours. If you take a tour on the docks they will be about 50% cheaper than RCIs.
For example in Gibralter you can get a tour of the rock for €25 per person. That same tour cost €55 per person booked through RCI. you just walk off the ship and walk up to a tour provider. There will be no shortage of them. Donbt fall for all the scare tactics about missing the ship if you dont book through RCI.

On the day of disembarkation you can stay on the ship instead of getting up early. I think you have to leave your cabin at about 8am, but just lie in and let get up when they knock and take your time. We've left the cabins at 9:30 before. You can stay on the ship for a while after that too but its boring as there is nothing happening. Just get a luggage tag on the last night that gives you whatever time you feel like getting off.

Thanks, Minion, that's helpful. We have cruised 3 times before but never with RCL & always were in a hurry to catch connections.
